Terms of service

These terms govern your use of zawqi. By using the site or buying lifetime access, you agree to them. zawqi is operated by an independent individual (“we”). Reach us anytime at hello@zawqi.app.

The service

zawqi is design-research software built around a curated catalog of real websites. For each one we publish a DESIGN.md, our own editorial write-up of the design. Public exploration is free. A one-time Founding Pass purchase unlocks personal collections, personal agent access, and the complete set of DESIGN.md files published now or later.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping access to the email address on your account, protecting any agent tokens you create, and for activity under them. One purchase is for one personal account.

Payment and billing

Lifetime access is a one-time charge: no subscription, no automatic renewal, nothing to cancel. Current pricing is shown at checkout and on our pricing page, and the price may rise over time; the price you pay is the price you keep. Billing is handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record and the seller of record: Polar processes your payment, issues your receipt, and handles billing and refunds under Polar's terms. If lifetime access isn't for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

Your license to the DESIGN.md files

Your purchase grants you a lifetime license to use the DESIGN.md files to design and build your own projects, commercial or personal. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish the files themselves as a competing collection or dataset. The files are our editorial work; your license is to use them, not to redistribute them.

What lifetime access covers

Lifetime access covers the personal catalog, collection-management, DESIGN.md, and personal agent-access capabilities included in the Founding Pass. Products with materially different costs—such as team seats, private corpora, custom extraction, hosted model inference, human services, or unusually heavy API usage—may be limited or sold separately. We won't require a recurring payment to keep using the personal Founding Pass capabilities you purchased.

About the designs featured

The DESIGN.md files describe reusable design patterns measured from publicly available websites: a style match, never a pixel copy. We do not copy, host, or sell any site's source code, proprietary assets, or logos, and a DESIGN.md is not affiliated with or endorsed by the site it describes. Screenshots are shown for reference and credit the original, which we link to.

Takedown and opt-out

If you own or represent a website featured in the collection and would like it removed, email hello@zawqi.app and we will remove it promptly, no questions asked.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break or overload it, scrape it at scale, share or resell personal tokens, or resell access. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Changes to the service and these terms

We're always improving zawqi, so the service and its pricing may change over time; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. We may also update these terms, and we'll revise the date above when we do.

Disclaimer

zawqi is provided “as is.” The DESIGN.md files are guidance for your own work; we don't warrant any particular result, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
