zawqi, Arabic for “my taste”, is shared design research for you and the coding agent you already use. Browse real websites, collect the direction that feels right, and let your agent read the same references and their measured DESIGN.mdfiles while it builds. A style match, never a pixel copy.

Why I built this

I build products with coding agents, and I kept hitting the same wall: “make it look good” is not a prompt. Good is subjective. It depends on the vibe that resonates with you, the vibe of your brand. Taste has to come from you, and the agent needs it handed over in a form it can actually follow.

I tried screenshots. I tried “look at this site.” A measured DESIGN.md gives an agent much better implementation context: colors, type, spacing, and reasoning in one file. But one file is only useful after you find the right direction, so Zawqi keeps the visual search, the human choice, and the agent-readable instructions together.

Zawqi does not run a second autonomous agent or ask you to leave the harness you trust. Your own agent gets narrow research tools: search the catalog, manage a named collection when you ask, and retrieve the chosen DESIGN.md. It never needs to poll in the background or spend context simply to stay connected.

Where the designs come from

Every design is measured from a public website in a live browser session: computed styles and measurements, never copied code. A DESIGN.md describes patterns (the palette, the type scale, the spacing rhythm, the do's and don'ts); it contains none of a site's code, assets, or logos. Every design credits and links its source, right on its page.
